Rohit Aiyer, MD
Double Board-Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Rohit Aiyer started his academic path at Queen's University in Canada. He then received his Medical Doctorate degree at one of the top medical schools in the UK, University of Birmingham in England. He then completed his Psychiatry residency in New York City at Zucker School of Medicine at Hostra/Northwell Health at Staten Island University Hospital. After his training, he realized how critical it is to treat patients that have both chronic pain and mental health conditions, and decided to pursue further training with an interventional pain medicine fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College in NYC.
He is committed to staying current with the latest research, proven by his number publications (over 50 publications and 5 book chapters), and is a member of editorial boards for several prestigious journals.
He has been involved and co-authored several international guidelines, as well as being a principal investigator and leader for large clinical trials and research studies, that have been published in high impact journals. He is currently involved in ongoing research studies, as a primary investigator for clinical trials. In addition, he has delivered several oral presentations and abstracts at international conferences.
Dr. Aiyer is a member of many societies in Psychiatrist, and holds appointments on various committees, including the Education Committee for the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) and the Research Committee for the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN).
Akash Mehta, DO
Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician, Medical Writer, Health & Media Consultant
Dr. Akash Mehta is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine with both UCLA and UCI in the greater Los Angeles area.
Dr. Mehta earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (along with a minor in Microbiology) from the University of Florida, followed by a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from Touro University-College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City in 2012. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
He has been part of numerous academic publications and is a consultant and blog writer for various media outlets.
Dr. Mehta’s combined education in psychology, osteopathic medicine and emergency medicine gives him a unique insight and skill set in evaluating and treating the mental health and chronic pain patient with ketamine. This is a combination not usually found in most ketamine administrators.

How it Works

Screening
Dr. Aiyer will conduct the initial screening and evaluation consultation to ensure you are a suitable candidate for IV Ketamine.

Infusion
If you are a good candidate, you will then be followed-up for an IV ketamine infusion under the care and supervision of Dr. Mehta in a monitored setting.

Monitoring
Dr. Mehta will have you on cardiac/oxygen monitoring with numerous medicines available to alleviate any potential side effects or complications.
